Feeding Hope: LTB Philippines and Philippine Young Chefs Club Serve Communities Across Manila

Last March 28, 2026, LTB Philippines and the Philippine Young Chefs Club (PYCC) once again joined forces with KAWA Pilipinas and Alternatives Food Corp for another meaningful day of community service – preparing 2,975 meals for some of Manila's most vulnerable populations.

Operating out of KAWA Pilipinas' expanded facility on C. Ayala St. near Hotel Benilde, the team served indigent communities, individuals in correctional facilities, and residents at the Missionaries of the Poor shelter. Beyond the feeding program, meals and food packs were also personally delivered to patients, doctors, and nurses at the emergency room of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), as well as to fire victims of FB Harrison in Manila — bringing food directly to those who needed it most.

LTB members Chef JA Ventura, Chef Jerome Valencia, Chef Fernando Aracama, Chef Jeffry Sayo, Chef Rexmond Chua, and Chef Jorge Concordia participated alongside Ms Pia and her Alternatives Food Corp team, and PYCC members Kyle Zara, Jordan Jacildo, Justin Moncerate, Grant Bravo, Jefferson Abejuela, Joshua Besana, Nicolo Biaco, Rainier Iringan, and Kirby Combalicer.

This event is a testament to what community, collaboration, and compassion can accomplish together, and a continuation of LTB Philippines’ ongoing commitment to community service, with plans for additional collaborative efforts with KAWA Pilipinas in the coming months.
