WELCOME TO THE LTB PHILIPPINES CHEFS ASSOCIATION WEBSITE!
LTB Philippines celebrated the arrival of the LTBCSP Batch 17 Scholars with a dinner on June 16, 2025, hosted at the Arla Test Kitchen in the Nexus Center, Makati City.
The event began with welcome remarks from LTB Philippines Vice President Chef JA Ventura and Regional Trade Marketing Executive for Food Service Ms. Leah de Guzman. LTB Philippines Director for Education Chef J Gamboa shared insights about the LTB Culinary Scholarship Program for teachers and its goals in developing Filipino culinary talent.
The buffet showcased a variety of dishes featuring Arla products by Chef Sito Senn of La Tasca. Crepes of Mozzarella and Laguna Cheese topped with Adobo flakes beautifully combined Filipino elements with European techniques. Other highlights included a Caramelized Onion, Brie, and Speck Tart, as well as Cocktail Sausages in Cheddar Frico Tacos, adding variety to the dining experience.
Additional offerings featured Chicken and Camembert Pies, Spinach and Apetina Feta Mousse on Pita Chips, and Potato and Cauliflower Gratin. The meal concluded with a delightful Cheesecake Bread Pudding for dessert.
For the carvery, there was the Cochinillo Asado, Roast Suckling Pig, sponsored by Augustino Meat Trading and Slow Roasted Wagyu Beef Brisket with horseradish cream.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors for making the evening possible. La Tasca Catering provided excellent food and service, Arla hosted and supplied quality products that enhanced every dish, and Augustino Meat Trading Co. generously sponsored the standout Cochinillo Asado. Their support is instrumental in advancing culinary education and development in the Philippines.
