WELCOME TO THE LTB PHILIPPINES CHEFS ASSOCIATION WEBSITE!
Last Sunday, January 25, 2026, LTB Philippines held its first ever Fun Walk event that started at Ayala Triangle, finishing at Ikomai Makati for a delightful breakfast.
Participants gathered at Ayala Triangle Gardens as early as 7:00 AM; which is a feat of its own! By 8:00 AM, our runners and pacers, led by Coach Jett San Juan with his teammates -- Gab, Gene, Liz, Anne, and Macy -- started with warm up exercises and light stretching. They also divided the participants into 3 groups: the 4:1 group (4 minutes run and 1 minute walk) for those who wanted a more challenging route, the 2:1 group (2 minutes run and 1 minute walk) for those who want a chiller route but would exert a little sweat; and then of course, the Fun Walkers group for those who want to walk the whole way through! This group also has a shorter route compared to the two groups to meet the finish line cut-off time.
Chef Louie Chua was the first to arrive at the finish line at Ikomai at around 8:40 AM, followed by the 4:1 group at 8:52 AM, the 2:1 group at 8:53 AM, and then the Fun Walkers group at 8:58 AM. Everyone then enjoyed drinks courtesy of Easy Brand PH, breakfast pastries courtesy of Bakers Champ by Chef Wolen and Masa Madre Bakehouse, and of course, the Classic Chicken Burger with Fries courtesy of Alternatives Food Corp., which was wonderfully prepared by Ikomai with Chatto Chicken Manila.
The atmosphere was festive and community-oriented, with runners and walkers ranging from culinary professionals to food enthusiasts and supporters of our association. Some even brought their kids and dogs! Thus making it a whole family affair event.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the runners and pacers headed by Coach Jett and his teammates -- Gab, Gene, Liz, Anne, and Macy -- for guiding us and making this event enjoyable; and of course to Bakers Champ by Chef Wolen, Easy Brand PH, Masa Madre Bakehouse, and Alternatives Food Corp. for supporting our cause, for your indubitable generosity, and for making this event possible. And to all our members, friends and family who joined us during this event to support our cause, and for spending your Sunday with us, thank you for making it a wonderful and memorable one.
This event is for the benefit of the LTB Culinary Scholarship Program for Teachers 2026. This program helps ensure the continued excellence and evolution of Philippine cuisine on both the local and international stage.
See you in our next events!
