WELCOME TO THE LTB PHILIPPINES CHEFS ASSOCIATION WEBSITE!
Last February 28, 2026, for the second time in Bacolod, LTB Philippines Chefs Association cooked the biggest paella in the Philippines (11 feet in diameter-pan for 1000 portions) for the benefit of the Kalipay Negrense Foundation. In it was over 300 kg of Spanish olive oil, garlic, onions, peppers, chorizo, chicken, prawns, squid, mussels, rice and 250 liters of stock! This event took place at Villa Olivia in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Consul General of Spain, Ignacio Sanchez Taboada was on hand and personally participated in the cooking of the giant paella. He praised the organizers and the attendees for continuing to support the foundation’s mission and cause.
Special thanks to Chef Richard Ynayan and the culinary students of the Institute of Culinary Arts - De La Salle Bacolod who helped in the preparation and cooking of the paella.
Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged children — those who are homeless, abandoned, neglected, malnourished, physically and sexually abused, victims of child labor and trafficking, and foundlings. The foundation is accredited by the Philippine Certified NGO Council (PCNC).
