We’ve had back-to-back-to-back events for our Young Chefs this month! Let’s dive in.
The Philippine Young Chefs Club (PYCC) successfully concluded its School Caravan at National University Fairview on October 2, 2025. The School Caravan serves as part of the organization's ongoing efforts to engage with students and promote culinary excellence across educational institutions.
LTB Philippines and the Philippine Young Chefs Club, together with Nestlé Philippines and Worldchefs, marked International Chefs Day on October 20, 2025 at C. P. Sta. Teresa Elementary School in Taguig City with the Food Explorers campaign to encourage the students to eat healthy.
The LTB Chefs who attended the event were LTB Vice President Chef Margarita Marty, Chef Jerome Valencia, Chef Mia Yan, Chef Ramona Olga Ko, Chef Mike Lacuesta, Chef Richard Gomez, and Chef Patrick Ramos, while PYCC Members who attended the event were PYCC President CJ Abitona, PYCC Vice President Kyle Zara, Nicolo Biaco, Jefferson Abejuela, Frances Kaira Fernandez, and Josh Besana.
Celebrating Worldchefs International Day and "Gastronomy Without Borders, Life in Harmony," The Aryana Resort & Spa and Taiwan Chefs Association hosted the 1st Asian International Chefs Day Charity Banquet on October 20, 2025. Chefs from 12 Asian nations including the Philippines, which was represented by Chef Cherrie Uy-Tan, PYCC Officers Mary Joy San Pedro, and Franchesca Chiara Mutuc, gathered to promote international culinary exchange and social compassion.
Over 300 guests attended, including representatives and members from seven charitable organizations that benefited from the event: (1) Faith, Hope & Love Foundation, (2) Down Syndrome Caring Association, (3) Eden Taichung Canaan Bakery Sheltered Workshop, (4) Nantou Resurrection Developmental Center, (5) Shuan Kuan (Xuan Kuan) Loving Care Home, (6) Rose Training Center for the Disabled, and (7) Hsi-Leh (Joy) Nursing Institute – Erlin Main Branch.
Through shared dining and cultural interaction, the event symbolized love, inclusion, and human connection, fulfilling the mission of “Spreading Love Through Cuisine.”
